In order to facilitate students' foreign language learning, the Audio- Visual Center maintains 160 booths in three classrooms, installed with up-to-date equipment for listening to and viewing audio-visual materials, as well as recording the students' individual oral productions. The Center also has a Tape Library with a self-study room which has 16 additional booths.
Students are able to select cassettes, CDs, video materials from more than 2400 titles and practice listening and speaking foreign languages. In addition, instructors can take advantage of the Center as they encourage students to work in their free time with the material they recommend. Members of the university can also enjoy masterpiece movies on DVD.
The Center is one of the most heavily used facilities on campus.
