Toyo Gakuen University has two libraries, located respectively in its Hongo and Nagareyama campuses. These two libraries serve as TGU's centers of information for education and academic research. Together, they hold more than 220,000 books and over 650 titles of periodicals. While the library collection covers various fields, with the collection being gradually developed in response to a wide range of requests from students and teachers, our libraries house a particularly good collection of works on British and American literature and English linguistics as well as Japanese and overseas economics and business.
Our librarians keep abreast of the most recent web-based resources for both internal and external searches, and thus provide our users with seamless access to other libraries and databases around the world. Toyo Gakuen University libraries have adopted an open-stack system so that users can have direct access to the materials.
Both libraries have group study rooms where a group of students and/or teachers can use for self-study or discussion.
