The library of Toyo Gakuen University holds more than 110,000 books and serves as the University’s information center for education and academic research.
While covering various fields, with the collection being gradually developed in response to a wide range of requests from students and teachers, the library houses a particularly good collection of works on British and American literature and English linguistics as well as Japanese and overseas economics and business.
The librarians keep abreast of the most recent web-based resources for both internal and external searches, and thus provide users with seamless access to other libraries and databases around the world. Toyo Gakuen University library has adopted an open-stack system so that users can have direct access to the materials. The library also has a study room that a group of students and/or teachers can use for self-study or discussion.
