Long Term Programs

Affiliated Institutions

These programs are at universities with international exchange agreement relationships with Toyo Gakuen University. Togaku students become students of the affiliated university and study for six months to one year as a regular member of the host university student body. They may either study advanced English language courses or an academic course connected to their major. On return to Japan, students are able to transfer credits and generally graduate in their fourth year.

Length of time: One semester or one academic year.
Location: Affiliated institutions in the United States of America, England, Canada, Australia or China.
Accommodation: Homestay or university dormitories.

Non-affiliated Institutions

These programs are initiated by students. Students may seek assistance and guidance from the International Exchange Center but apply to a university that is not already affiliated with Togaku. Students take the responsibility of finding and applying to their program.

Length of time: One semester or one academic year.
Location: Any institution where English or Chinese is used.
Accommodation: Homestay or university dormitories.
