Ms. Yuko Nakamura
Alumnus of the Graduate School of Business Administration

I am a graduate of Toyo Women's College, the predecessor of Toyo Gakuen University. For more than 15 years after graduating from the college, I engaged in various operations at a foreign-affiliated investment bank, using English for work. When I was in my early 40s, I began to think what career to pursue in the later stages of life. The answer I found was being involved in the management of a company committed to early childhood education. To make this dream come true, I attended a vocational school and qualified as a childcare professional and kindergarten teacher. I also wanted to learn business administration systematically so I entered the Graduate School of Business Administration of Toyo Gakuen University. At the graduate school, I enjoyed studying with faculty members and other students.

The five-year bachelor's and master's program was an efficient way to learn and gave me an advantage both in knowledge development and job hunting.

Mr. Toshihiko Oshiro
Alumnus of the Graduate School of Business Administration An employee of Citibank Japan Ltd.

To deepen my knowledge obtained in the undergraduate program, I studied subjects in business administration, finance, and the similar fields further at the graduate school. I studied management strategies of Japanese and American companies and other practical business issues in high-quality classes, which were given by academic staff with extensive experience in business. This allowed me to feel that I could acquire management capabilities as well as knowledge. Since I was an undergraduate student, I had been desiring to pursue my career in the financial industry. Therefore, Toyo Gakuen University's program for obtaining bachelor and master degrees in five years, which allowed me to complete the master's program a year earlier while studying intensively, gave me a great advantage in job hunting. I would like to work with as much intellectual curiosity as I had as a graduate student.
