1/13（火）から、国際交流センターに新インターン2名が着任。
1/15（木）昼休みにGlobal LoungeにてWelcome Eventが行われました。

新インターンは、のAlaa Alkershi （アラー アルカーシ／写真左）とSky Trethewey（スカイ トレセウェイ／写真右）。
両名とも本学の協定校であるイギリス・アストン大学の在学生です。

Welcome Eventでは、国際交流センター長・Sarah Louisa Birchley教授の司会で2名が登壇。
それぞれの自己紹介後、集まった学生たちの質問に答えたり、日本でのお勧めスポットや食べ物について和やかに情報交換したりと、和気あいあいと交流する様子が見られました。

2人は今年の7月まで、Global LoungeのLounge Timeやイベント、授業補助などの活動を行います。
学生の皆さんは、ぜひ気軽に声をかけて積極的に交流を！

■新インターンからのメッセージ

Hello everyone! My name is Sky Trethewey and I am very happy to be joining Toyo Gakuen University as an English intern. I am here to support students with their English learning, conversation practice, and study abroad preparation. Please feel free to visit the Global Lounge anytime to talk, ask questions, or just practice English in a relaxed and friendly environment. During my time in Japan, I hope to make new friends, immerse myself in Japanese culture, and explore new places. I am really looking forward to meeting you all, learning from each other, and sharing cultural experiences during my time in Japan!

Hi everyone! My name is Alaa Alkershi and I am delighted to be joining this program as an intern. This experience in Japan is an exciting opportunity for me to learn and grow both professionally and academically.
